As the band booster organization for Davidson Academy, our purpose is to -

• Support the Davidson Academy band students by cultivating excellence in musicianship, pride, and spirit
• Assist the Band Director in achieving the objectives for the DA Band program
• Show the qualities of cooperation, communication, leadership, and excellence through the volunteer efforts of the membership, executive committee, and standing committees of the association
• Assist in the organization of approved activities for any DA Band program or event
• Promote and disseminate appropriate information regarding all band functions and achievements with the ultimate goal of stimulating interest and growth of Davidson Academy’s band program
• Create and drive various fundraising sales and events to supplement the financial needs of the DA Band program beyond that which is provided by Davidson Academy
